I work in whatever setting suits the subject — a full studio setup with professional lighting, an outdoor location that means something to them, or a pop-up studio brought to wherever they are. The environment changes. The approach doesn't.

The job is to make the person in front of the lens forget the camera is there. Some people get there quickly. Others need a bit longer. Either way, the photographs worth keeping are always the ones taken after that moment.
